We are not aging, we are maturing!

Aging comes in two categories:

  1. Intrinsic is what you were born with. Just like Mom, just like Dad.
  2. Extrinsic is what you choose to do with your lifestyle. When I grow up, I’m going to do things my way!

Sleep, it appears, is the number one thing we sacrifice – I’m just too busy. I don’t have time to sleep.
 

 

But wait – sleep allows our bodies to heal, improves cellular and tissue health, cognitive function, immunity, energy levels, and metabolism. Lack of quality sleep can cause some health issues, including high blood pressure, depression, obesity, stroke, diabetes, and heart disease.

Our sleep habits — and sleep needs — change as we age.
