"Courageous care partners recharge with self-care, striving for peaceful pinnacles
in patience, persistence, and positive
changes, knowing when to conquer and when to comfort."

Oprah Winfrey burst onto the television screen in 1986 when I was a young mother with a four-year old. Up until his birth, I was teaching elementary school interacting with many people, but now I found myself at home with longer hours to fill—Oprah became my date at 4:00 most weekday afternoon.

What I Know For Sure is a summary of fourteen years of Oprah’s affirmation: when you know something for sure it tends to stand the test of time. When you get the chance to step out, to live free of regret, and live with joy—a five-star experience—or do you recede into fear and self-doubt, chose the first option every day! Get up, step out, and live fully.

Fear can rob you of your life, you must push past your anxiety and keep reaching for your best life, reminding yourself that this moment is the only one you have for sure. There is no need to reach the end of your rope or the end of your hope. Oprah assures us that we are a single choice away from a new beginning—our intention, our quest, our clarity.

Nothing happens until you make up your mind. Boldness has genius, power, and magic. Decide and watch your life move forward. Power occurs when purpose aligns with personality to serve the greater good, reflecting all you were meant to be. Though you may stumble, you will not fall.

You’ve got this!

Trust your gut!

Dream big!
