"Courageous care partners recharge with self-care, striving for peaceful pinnacles
in patience, persistence, and positive
changes, knowing when to conquer and when to comfort."

My funny valentine.

The story goes something like this: Saint Valentine, a Roman priest during the third century, was mightly upset when Emperor Claudius II outlawed marriage, believing unmarried soldiers made better fighting men compared to those hampered with a wife and family. Undetered, St. Valentine, a bit of a rebel, began performing marriages in secret but this didn’t end well for him. Stories have different endings, but due to his resistence, people bagan to celebrate his fortitude worldwide celebrating love.

Ways to express your love: spend time together in graditude and appreciation, leave a note in a most unexpected location, go outside and sit under the stars, take a walk at sunset, help each other with errands and chores, take a stroll down memory lane, volunteer at a local animal shelter, clean up a beach or neighborhood street, go to the movies and share popcorn, become a tourist in your own town, pretend you’re in a romatic place like Paris with a bottle of wine, a platter of cheese, crackers, and fruit sharing a meal together, have breakfast in bed, and last, make a bucket list of the all the things you’d like to share together.

Life Lesson: spend quality time together.
