"Courageous care partners recharge with self-care, striving for peaceful pinnacles
in patience, persistence, and positive
changes, knowing when to conquer and when to comfort."

In difficult times.

I'm late, I'm late for a very important date.
No time to say hello, good-bye.
I'm late, I'm late, I'm late
Can't even say good-bye,
Hello, I'm late, I'm late, I'm late.

The Room of Ancient Keys by Elena Mikhalkova

Grandmother once gave me a tip:

In difficult times, you move forward in small steps.

Do what you must do, but little by little.

Do not think about the future, or what may happen tomorrow.

Wash the dishes. Take off the dust. Write a letter. Make some soup.

Do you see?

You are moving forward step by step.

Take a step and stop.

Get some rest.

Compliment yourself.

Take another step. Then another one.

You won’t notice, but your steps will grow bigger and bigger.

And the time will come when you can think about the future without crying.

For Elena Mikhalkova, Russian born in 1974, discovered her love for reading in early childhood, her favorite genres included fantasy and detective. Her own detective literary genre began with The Island of a Realized Dream in 2008, and her latest book is There is No Grasshopper in the Grass.
