"Courageous care partners recharge with self-care, striving for peaceful pinnacles
in patience, persistence, and positive
changes, knowing when to conquer and when to comfort."

Trust me, one knitter in our family is enough!

“Take your needle, my child, and work at your pattern; it will come out a rose by and by.
Life is like that – one stitch at a time taken patiently and the pattern will come out all right like the embroidery.”

– Oliver Wendell Holmes (
1809-1894)

Social Support. Knitting and yarn crafts are all examples of group-related hobbies. Bonding with others adds social support to your life which helps lower stress.

With each stitch, with each row, a sense of peace comes over me, and I feel at home. Maybe the best part of knitting and yarn crafts is that they are not a must, a should, or a have-to, but rather a WANT-to!
